My Approach

At the beginning we will meet as often as you deem necessary. During our time together we will work collaboratively in setting your counseling goals. Using your observance of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations we will explore your automatic reactions with a sense of curiosity and compassion bringing them into the light to help achieve the change you desire. I mainly use mindfulness based interventions, and am comfortable with various other interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and others.

My Background

I was born in France and raised in Portland. I received my Master’s of Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 2009, I achieved my License Clinical Social Worker in 2015 while working in a residential center where I worked with women with addiction and mental health. I have experience with complex trauma, addiction, and personality disorders, though I am a generalist at heart.
